This enchanting evening event invites participants to explore the beauty and importance of the night sky. Highlights include educational insights on dark sky preservation and actionable steps individuals can take to protect it. Telescopes provided by the Northwoods Explorers of Space and Astronomy will offer guests a chance to view celestial wonders such as nebulae, star clusters, and double stars. Bring blankets or chairs to relax comfortably under the stars. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

A special feature of the event includes a live painting session by local artist Tom Barnett, who will create a unique “Star Scene” to be given away to one lucky attendee.

Registration is preferred but not required. Those who register will receive email notifications in the event of a date change.
